Three reports on the use of restorative justice services (for children and young people and those harmed by their behaviour) in Scotland have now been produced.

Sacro Youth Justice Services Evaluation: April 2004–March 2005 (W. J. Nicol, S. Kirkwood. & L. MacFarlane, Sacro Youth Justice June, 2006).

Implementing Restorative Justice within an Integrated Welfare System: The Evaluation of Glasgow’s Restorative Justice Service - Summary Report (Kathryn Dutton and Bill Whyte - Criminal Justice Social Work Briefing Paper 8: March 2006)

Reparation and Mediation/Parent Support Services: Annual Report 2004-05 (Renfrewshire Council, 2006)

Several local authorities are currently testing a restorative justice approach to Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABCs).

Guidance on how to implement this approach can be found in Annex C of the (then) Scottish Executive's Guidance on Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (PDF, 468Kb).
